Ir. Neoh Cheng Aik joined JKR/PWD Malaysia after graduating from University of Malaya in 1974. He has served 25 years in various capacities and posts including Site Engineer for several building & road/bridge projects, Senior Executive Engineer of KL–Karak Highway Project, Senior Executive (Geotechnical) Engineer in Design & Research Branch, Superintending Engineer (Structures) of Armed Forces Works Branch, Head of Geotechnical Division of Institute of Public Works Malaysia for about 6 years and Head of Road Design Unit of Road Branch, PWD HQ for about 5 years prior to opting for retirement from JKR Malaysia in December 1998.

He joined Kumpulan IKRAM as Director of IKRAM Runding Sdn. Bhd. from December 1998 to April 2000.

From April 2000 to present, Ir. Neoh Cheng Aik has been serving the role of Director of E-Geo Consultant Sdn. Bhd., which is mainly specialized in geotechnical engineering training and designs of structural foundations, ground improvements, earth-retaining structures and slopes, plus geotechnical failure investigation and innovative remediation proposals.

He is also frequently engaged as an independent geotechnical design checker and as an expert witness in construction disputes/arbitration related to geotechnical works.
Ir. Neoh Cheng Aik was amongst the first batch of accredited geotechnical independent checkers accredited/appointed by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (Ref: 3A/C (G)).

He has been a Vice President of IEM (2004-2006), Chairman of IEM Geotechnical Engineering Division (1996-1998) & Chairman of Technical Committee on Geotechnics (TC5), Road Engineering Association Malaysia (1997-2006), etc.

To date, Ir. Neoh Cheng Aik has published/presented more than 50 technical papers about geotechnical and road engineering in various local or international seminars, conferences, journals and bulletins.

Ir. Lee Soon Hing has more than 45 years of working experiences as a design consultant, site investigation, project supervision and management specialist. He has extensive practical experience and is particularly specialized in design and construction or earth dams, water supply works and site investigation planning and interpretation.

He is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), member of the Malaysian Water Association, president of the Malaysian Site Investigation Association (2002) and currently a committee member for the Jawatankuasa Pembangunan Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS) Sessi “Occupational & Job Analysis”, “Course of Study & Training Module” bagi bidang Site Investigation for CIDB.

Since 1989, Ir. Lee Soon Hing has also been serving as the managing director of Inter Soil Engineering Sdn. Bhd., a site investigation specialist firm.

Ir. Tan Ken Sim graduated from James Cook University, Australia in 2009 and has since been practicing as a geotechnical engineer for more than 10 years, during which he had garnered extensive experience in various geotechnical engineering projects e.g. slope stabilization/rehabilitation, foundation design, deep excavation works, ground improvement, etc.

Ir. Tan Ken Sim joined E-Geo Consultant Sdn. Bhd. as a Director in 2020.

He is registered as a professional engineer with practicing certificate under the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (BEM), a member of the Malaysian Geotechnical Society (MGS), an associate ASEAN engineer and a member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).
